Holiday Schedule
If a customer's scheduled collection day falls on a holiday, service will be provided on the next regularly scheduled collection day.
The County currently recognizes the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Independence Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
The County reserves the right to modify or add to this list of designated holidays at any time.
Hurricane Preparedness
Prior to the storm's arrival, safely secure your garbage and recycling carts inside your garage or residence.
Garbage and recycling service may be suspended during this time. After the storm, separate vegetative waste (trees and shrubs) from other bulky items and garbage.
Normal garbage and recycling collection service will resume as soon as roads are accessible.
